Downside of a 140″ Screen? Motion sickness.

All is not rosey at Pimp Daddy Central.
So, my daughter was playing Katamari Forever on the new hotness PS3 on one of her many snow days. She came into my office after only playing 20 mins or so, complaining that she was dizzy and her head was aching. I would have dismissed it, except this was the second time it happened.
It’s pretty easy to see, looking at the game trailer, that the nature of the game might cause some problems on a screen so big. At almost 12 feet diagonally, it’s big enough to give anyone a sense of vertigo. The edgy look to the graphics and constantly shifting perspective sent my little Pimpette over the edge.
Ironically, my son didn’t have any problems with Uncharted, but I think it may have more to do with the photorealistic feel of that game.
We’ll be keeping an eye on this. For now, my daughter is choosing the little TV for her gaming. She’s a little gun shy for the time being.
